According to Xiaomi, the new watch launched by the company, the Mi Watch Revolve, can last for up to two weeks without the need to charge. It does this with a battery with a working volume of 420 mAh, which needs a full charging time of about two and a half hours. Working time is significantly shortened, up to a maximum of 20 hours, once the watch’s built-in GPS is continuously activated.
This is a relatively surprising figure for a circle-shaped watch whose OLED panel is 1.39 inches in size and offers a resolution of 454 × 45 pixels with a brightness of 350 nits. The screen has protective glass in the shape of Gorilla Glass 3 and the overall design should be relatively luxurious, or at least communicate in this direction, with two physical buttons on the right side of the watch and the body made of stainless metal.
It uses Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to the phone running the company’s Xiaomi Wear app, and as mentioned there is also GPS connectivity alongside WiFi. It can also dive to a depth of up to 5 atmospheres.
Like the company’s other wearable devices, the Mi Watch Revolve purports to measure pressure, monitor heart rate and measure stature and also track a user’s personal energy level. It offers 10 sports modes to track, and it offers out of the box more than 110 designs by the clock.
The watch is 46 mm in size and connects to plastic straps that are already available in several colors. Its weight, without the straps, is only 40 grams. The price is about $ 150.
