Just before the launch of the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 , manufacturer Oppo announced its own fitness band. If you want this is the company’s attempt to grab some attention and also offer, in the form of Oppo Band, a competition for the popular strip of the competitor.
Buufu created three different models for the strip. The basic hardware is shared by the three of them: a 1.1-inch AMOLED touch screen, a step-count sensor, a blood oxygen level sensor (SpO2), a company-supplied battery for up to 14 days and needing an hour and a half to charge, and a 5-pin connection for Android devices and iPhone.
Like similar tracks, Oppo Band also offers the ability to identify and track 12 different sports including running, cycling, swimming and training and sleep tracking. The track is also used to get alerts from the device, control music playback, and weather updates.
The differences between the models are mainly external. The base model, which costs about $ 28, a plastic case and a silicone strap. For about $ 35, you can purchase the Fashion Edition with a stainless steel case. This model also comes with an NFC connection to support wireless purchases, but not sure it will operate outside of China.
The most expensive model, $ 42 in cost , is dedicated to the classic anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion. This is reflected in the strip design and also a unique display design that is not available in the other models. However, the range of background choices is not really limited – users can choose from 160 different designs that are already available.
