Huami’s Amazfit Bip watch series has been extended by one more watch. The company launched the Bip U, which is very similar in appearance to the Bip S that came on the market less than six months ago, certainly in terms of the square design, but offers a larger screen and on the other hand also a built-in tracking option for many more sporting activities.
The Bip U has a 1.43-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 320 × 302 pixels, which is protected by a Gorilla Glass 3 cover, and also offers a coating to prevent staining. The user can select by default one of 50 wallpapers for the home page of the watch, but only two of them can determine what information will be offered on the home page.
The watch offers tracking of more than 60 sporting activity modes and you can use the phone’s GPS to connect to to track the activity track. Like other Wami products it offers 24 × 7 heart rate monitoring, SpO2 sensor, pressure gauge, sleep tracking and also activity index tracking. There are of course also some activity watches, including a watch according to the Pomodoro method for combining work and exercise.
Blip U weighs 31 grams, offers water resistance to a depth of up to 50 meters, and its 230 mAh battery should be enough according to the company for 9 working days in a typical use scenario – whatever it may be. The launch price is $ 55.
