The web version of WhatsApp, Facebook’s leading instant calling app, is about to align with the phone app in terms of voice calls and video usage.
The website WAbetainfo reveals that the new beta version of the app for using the browser, version 2.2043.7 already contains buttons for making voice and video calls, and claims that it is a few weeks before the actual launch of the new features.
The website displays the new window that opens whenever you receive or make a voice call or video call, with a slight difference between the window that appears when you receive a call and the initial window that appears when you initiate a call.
It is also claimed that there is support for voice calls and group video calls as in the mobile app.
